В Херсонской области за последние 24 часа 12 человек получили ранения в результате российских обстрелов.

As a result of shelling by Russian forces on February 25, 12 civilians were injured in the Kherson region within a single day.

This was reported by the National Police.

The towns affected by Russian strikes included Kherson, Prydniprovsk, Antonovka, Sadove, Inzhenerne, Kamyshany, Nadezhdivka, Shyroka Balka, Stanislav, Belozerka, Zymovnyk, Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Krasnyi Maiak, Staroselye, Burhunka, and Monastyrske.

These populated areas were shelled using artillery, mortars, and drones. Among the material damages, a multi-story building and over a dozen private houses, a garage, an administrative building, and three vehicles were damaged.

Regarding the injured, a 63-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman from Kherson were reported. The civilians sustained mine-explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds to the thigh.

Additionally, two others – a 50-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman – were injured in Stanislav. They were diagnosed with explosive injuries and concussions.

Among the 12 injured in the region within the day, at least three were police officers who were caught in the Russian shelling in the Belozerska community.

It is worth noting that last year, Russian forces intensified their shelling of the de-occupied part of Kherson region, striking the area at least one and a half times more frequently. As a result, over 2,100 people were killed or injured.
