In the past 24 hours, in the Kherson region, Russians killed one person and injured five others.

As a result of shelling by Russian military forces on January 21, a civilian was killed in the Kherson region, and five others were injured.

This information was reported by the National Police.

During the day, the Russian army attacked Kherson, Antonovka, Stanislav, Sadovoe, Prydniprovskoye, Nezlamne, Belozerka, Novodmytrivka, Berislav, Zolotaya Balka, Mykhailivka, Shlyakhove, Kostyrka, Novorayskoye, Havrylivka, and Krasny Mayak.

In terms of material damage, there were two damaged apartment buildings and seven private houses, two vehicles, and a gas pipeline.

Regarding civilian casualties, three individuals were reported injured in Antonovka, which was attacked by Russians using drones and guided bombs. The victims sustained mine-explosive injuries, shrapnel wounds, and fractures.

According to officials, one of the men injured in Antonovka died in the hospital around midnight.

In the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, a 64-year-old man was injured as a result of Russian artillery shelling. He sustained a mine-explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to his arm.

It is worth noting that a man in need of medical assistance was evacuated from a frontline village in the Kherson region.

Last year, Russian military forces shelled the part of the Kherson region controlled by the Ukrainian government at least one and a half times more frequently. As a result, more than 2,100 people were killed or injured.
