As a result of shelling by Russian military forces on December 24 in Kryvyi Rih, at least 17 civilians were injured, and one person was killed.
This was reported by the National Police.
The Russian army struck a residential area of the city with a missile, completely destroying one of the apartment buildings.
Initially, six injuries were reported, but the number significantly increased overnight as people were trapped under the rubble. Among the injured were at least two children – girls aged 14 and 16.

Currently, emergency rescue operations at the strike site have been completed.
It is worth noting that as a result of shelling by Russian military forces in the morning of December 25, several thermal power plants were damaged, leading energy workers to implement emergency power outages, and at least three injuries were reported in Kharkiv.
