On October 24, Russian soldiers reportedly killed two residents of Selidovo and fired upon a civilian vehicle.

An investigation has been initiated in the criminal proceedings regarding violations of the laws and customs of war, writes the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office.

Information about the killings of civilians by the occupiers in the city emerged in several Telegram channels on October 27, 2024.

At the same time, as noted by online resources, the bodies of deceased civilians are located in the area of the private sector, which has been largely unaffected by active hostilities. This indicates that these murders likely occurred after the enemy took control of these territories.

Another video captured Russian soldiers, who reportedly fired automatic weapons at a civilian vehicle in Selidovo. There were two civilians inside, one of whom sustained injuries.

Later, military personnel from the Armed Forces of Ukraine arrived at the scene. They pulled the injured person away from the line of fire, provided first aid, and evacuated civilians from the area under attack.

The prosecutor's office clarified that urgent investigative and search actions are underway to establish all circumstances of the events and identify the victims of the occupiers.

Earlier, ZMINA reported that in the Donetsk region, Russian soldiers executed two captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine once again. This occurred near the city of Selidovo.

A criminal case has been opened regarding the violation of the laws and customs of war. The killing of prisoners of war constitutes a serious breach of the Geneva Conventions and is classified as a grave international crime.
