An online course aimed at "preventing the ideology of neo-Nazism among children and youth" has been launched on the platform of the Russian society "Knowledge." This course places particular emphasis on children from Ukraine and occupied territories, with plans to "reintegrate them" into Russian society.
This was reported by the Russian publication "Verstka."
Source: "Verstka"The course was developed by 12 historians, political scientists, sociologists, and legal experts. It is designed for teachers, educational advisors, and youth workers. Within ten days, 1,150 individuals signed up for the training.
Instructors explain to educators how to refute "the theses of Ukrainian propaganda," provide examples of "myths about Ukraine," and offer a timeline of the "beginning of the special military operation," starting from 1900. Among the 13 myths that, according to the course authors, are propagated by Ukrainian politicians, are claims of Ukrainian origins for Adam and Eve, Buddha, and Jesus Christ.
A separate section of the course is dedicated to working with children of Ukrainian refugees and schoolchildren from occupied territories who may be susceptible to "recruitment." They specifically identify "politically opposed children" as being at risk. The educators suggest "gently influencing" the children's consciousness so that they gradually begin to perceive the Russian viewpoint as their own. This, according to the organizers' plan, is intended to help children adapt to the realities of the "hybrid war of the West against Russia."
One of the lecturers, Alexey Lavrentyev, head of the "Movement of the First" in the Kherson region, stated that the key goal of working with these children is the "return of their Russian identity."
The lectures discuss how to convince children through "real human stories" that only as part of Russia can they receive quality education, build successful careers, and live in safety. At the same time, the authors of the course claim that the Ukrainian state offers them only "destruction, suffering, and the annihilation of traditional values."
The Russian society "Knowledge" was established by the Kremlin in 2015 for a "mass educational movement." According to data from the publication "Meduza," funding for the project increased twentyfold in May 2021, reaching 2 billion rubles. Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, "Knowledge" has conducted hundreds of so-called patriotic events.
Earlier, ZMINA reported that Russian propagandists are systematically preparing a replacement for themselves from children and youth in occupied territories: the first "bloggers' school 'Donbass Media Center'" (DMC) in Luhansk held its graduation.
