In the Kharkiv region, three civilians escaped from Russian captivity and reported witnessing the execution of a neighbor.

This was reported by the National Police.
В Харьковской области трое мирных жителей сбежали из плена россиян и поделились рассказом о расстреле своего соседа.

In the Kharkiv region, investigators have initiated a criminal case regarding the murder of a civilian by Russian soldiers, who lived in Dvurechne.

This was reported by the National Police.

The fact of the murder came to light thanks to three neighbors of the victim, who managed to walk 8 kilometers from the occupied area where they were forcibly held by Russian soldiers.

As is currently known, on January 3, a group of Russian fighters stormed the house where four people were present – Evgeny, Anna, Valentina, and Vladimir.

“Russian soldiers opened fire, shooting at the house with automatic weapons and throwing grenades. Evgeny recounted that his neighbor Vladimir, who was nearby, was injured,”shares the memories of the people the head of the investigative department of the National Police in Kharkiv region, Sergey Bolvinov.

The injured man died a few days later because the Russian soldiers did not provide him with any medical assistance, and his neighbors lacked the means to save their friend.

Evgeny, Anna, and Valentina were forced into a cellar by the Russians and forbidden to leave. They were unable to bury their neighbor’s body, which still remains in the yard of the house.

At a certain moment, when the Russian soldiers weren’t watching the captives, they escaped to the neighboring Kutkovka, where they informed law enforcement about their ordeal.

According to Bolvinov, people remember the faces of the Russians, as well as a distinctive feature of one of the soldiers – a patch on his uniform that read “Nothing personal – we were paid.”

We remind you that last year, in absentia, a Russian was sentenced for locking a family with children in a cellar during the occupation of Chernihiv region, less than 10 meters away.
