In the Donetsk region, seven civilians lost their lives over the past day due to Russian shelling.

As a result of shelling by Russian military forces on February 20, seven civilians were killed in the Donetsk region.

This was reported by the National Police.

In a single day, nearly 3,400 strikes were recorded across 13 populated areas, including Konstantinovka, Nikolaevka, Mirnograd, Pokrovsk, Rodinskoye, Slavyansk, and the villages of Veseloye, Diliyevka, Dlinna Balka, Ilyinovka, Komar, Markovo, and Stepanovka.

In terms of material damage, hundreds of facilities were affected, the majority of which were residential buildings, along with a hospital, a boiler house, and administrative buildings.

Regarding casualties, five individuals died in Konstantinovka, which was shelled by artillery and drones, while two others were killed in Nikolaevka and Veseloye. Additionally, at least two civilians were injured in Konstantinovka and Pokrovsk.

It is worth noting that the day before, in Kherson, the bodies of two victims from a nighttime shelling were found under the rubble.
