В Буче почтили память жертв: после освобождения района обнаружили 1190 убитых.

In the Kyiv region, in Bucha, on the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the memory of all those who perished due to Russian aggression and everyone who gave their life for the independence of the state is honored.

This was reported by the acting head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Nikolai Kalashnik.

He noted that on the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the city honors the memory of all who died because of Russian aggression, as well as everyone who sacrificed their life for the nation's independence.

Kalashnik shared that in Bucha, which has become a symbol of tragedy, he laid flowers at the "Wall of Remembrance" memorial alongside the relatives of the deceased, where the names of civilians tortured, shot, and buried in mass graves are inscribed.

According to him, at the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called Church in Bucha, 116 victims were found in a mass grave, among them were 30 women and two children.

He also mentioned that after the city was liberated, 422 murdered civilians were discovered, with a total of 1,190 in the Bucha district.

Kalashnik emphasized that the Wall of Remembrance bears the names of people from different generations – from those born in 1928 to those born in 2000. However, the date of death for all is the same – February-March 2022. He stressed that these crimes cannot be forgotten or forgiven.

It is worth noting that since February 24, 2022, as a result of shelling by Russian troops in Kyiv, 210 civilians have died.

Over the past three years, Kyiv residents have heard air raid alerts 1,539 times, and among the material consequences of the attacks, 1,239 residential buildings have been damaged.

On the eve of the third anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion and the arrival of an EU delegation in Kyiv, Russian military forces launched 185 strike drones across the regions of Ukraine.
