Russian military forces are scattering traps on the roads to hinder the evacuation of civilians from the region.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Roman Mrochkо.
The so-called “hedgehogs” scattered throughout the region have already obstructed evacuations from Antonovka at least twice. In both instances, drivers were able to exit the “red zone” and stop in a safe location.
As the official explains, in the event of hitting a trap, the danger does not lie in the mere fact of damaging a tire.
“According to the logic of the Russians, the crew is supposed to stop to change the tire, and a drone with explosives is already lying in wait to kill or injure civilians,” says Mrochkо.
Previously, officials in the Kherson region stated that the Russian army uses the territory as a sort of training ground for drone pilots. They drop explosives from drones, targeting cyclists, pedestrians, medics responding to calls, and those attempting to escape danger.
Some individuals responsible for these attacks have been identified by investigators.
Let us remind you that the Russian army has damaged or destroyed 30,000 civilian objects in the Kherson region.
