Russians killed a nurse in a suburb of Kherson and damaged a hospital in the region.

On January 15, in the village of Antonovka near Kherson, a nurse from the local clinic was killed due to a Russian shelling. Additionally, the occupiers damaged a hospital in Belozerka during the night.

This information was reported by the local military administration and chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration Alexander Prokudin.

“The Russians took the life of a medical worker in the Kherson region. A 56-year-old nurse from the local clinic was killed due to the shelling of Antonovka,” the statement said.

Also, during the night, Russian forces shelled the hospital in Belozerka. The building sustained damage to the roof, facade, and windows were shattered. There has been no information regarding injuries.

Previously, Prokudin noted that over the past day, seven people were injured in the Kherson region.

In the past 24 hours, the following locations came under fire and airstrikes from the Russian army: Antonovka, Molodyozhnoe, Dneprovskoe, Belozerka, Kizomys, Veletenskoe, Zimovnik, Tomina Balka, Stanislav, Shirokaya Balka, Pridneprovskoye, Daryevka, Sadovoe, Tokarevka, Nikolskoye, Ivanovka, Berislav, Olgovka, Nikolaevka, Zmievka, Urozhainoe, Mikhailovka, Burgunka, Monastyrskoye, Dudchany, Lvovskoye, Novotyaginka, Novoberislav, Tyaginka, Poniatovka, Odradokamenka, Virovka, Novokairi, Zolotaya Balka, Veseloye, Kazatskoye, and the city of Kherson.

The Russian military targeted social infrastructure; residential areas of the settlements in the region, including damage to a multi-story building and 12 private homes. The occupiers also mutilated a gas pipeline, outbuildings, garages, and private vehicles.

Recall that on January 14, two police explosives experts from Zaporizhzhia lost their lives while on duty in the Kherson region – 30-year-old Alexey Safonov and 36-year-old Ilya Derhilev.
