В Харькове россияне поразили дом управляемой авиабомбой: три человека погибли, 36 получили ранения (обновлено).

As a result of shelling by Russian military forces on the night of October 31 in Kharkiv, three civilians were killed, and at least 36 others were injured.

This was reported by the city's mayor Igor Terekhov and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The Russians struck the Saltivskyi district with a guided aerial bomb, hitting a residential building.

Consequently, nearly the entire entrance of the building was destroyed, and people were trapped under the rubble and on the upper floors. A boy was rescued from the collapsed structures, and although medical staff fought for his life, they were unable to save him.

Fragments of bodies were also recovered from the debris, so examinations will be conducted for identification purposes.

President Vladimir Zelensky promptly commented on the Russian attack in the evening. He noted that “every postponed decision by partners means at least dozens, if not hundreds, of such Russian bombs against Ukraine.”

It is worth mentioning that September 2024 became a month with the highest number of civilian casualties during the ongoing war. Previously, the greatest number of deaths and injuries was recorded in the summer of 2024. Over the past three months, this figure has increased by 45% compared to the same period before.

Among the reasons cited for the rise in casualties is the use of explosive weapons with a wide range by the Russian Federation in populated areas, such as guided aerial bombs.
