As a result of shelling by Russian military forces on the evening of January 21 in Mykolaiv and Sumy, five civilians were injured.

The Russian army struck Mykolaiv with attack drones.
Consequently, a residential building, a shuttle cooperative, a business, and public transport were damaged. Among the injured civilians are a 59-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman. The man received assistance on the spot, while the woman was hospitalized with severe injuries.
In Sumy, the Russians also targeted the residential sector with a drone strike.
Preliminary reports indicate that 13 private residential houses were damaged, and three civilians were injured. They sustained minor injuries and acute stress reactions, so they were not hospitalized.
