As a result of shelling by Russian military forces on February 5, seven people were injured in the Kherson region, including three police officers who arrived at the site of the strike to assist the victims, and one person was killed.
This was reported by the National Police.
In the morning, Russians attacked Antonovka twice with drones, and during one of the strikes, a man was killed.
During the second shelling, four civilians were injured – three men aged 47, 48, and 54, and a 48-year-old woman. When the police learned about the incident, a group of three law enforcement officers was dispatched to the scene. At the moment they were evacuating the wounded, the Russians launched a second attack on the strike site. As a result, all three police officers were injured, but no details about their condition were provided in the report.
A criminal investigation has been opened under the article on violations of the laws and customs of war.
Photos of the aftermath of the Russian strikes on Antonovka were not published promptly.
It should be noted that during the Great War, 36 double strikes by Russians against the cleanup crews following the attacks have been confirmed. More than 90 rescuers lost their lives as a result.
Analysts state that double strikes are a fundamental aspect of the Russian method of warfare, as evidenced by their widespread use in both Syria and Ukraine.
