Russians have begun a comprehensive inventory of real estate in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
This is reported by ZMINA, referencing information from pro-Russian media.
Photo from open sourcesAccording to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, this “will help bring new properties into circulation.”
As of now, the occupiers have already identified more than 90,700 properties, with nearly 32,000 having their characteristics specified in the relevant registers.
“Overall, the work on comprehensive inventory is necessary to attract new real estate into circulation”, stated a representative of the occupation authorities.
During the inventory process, archival documents and cartographic materials are reviewed, territory inspections are conducted, and property rights holders are sought. This work is being carried out by the PPK “Roskadast” in coordination with the Rosreestr and regional teams, said Khusnullin.
Earlier, ZMINA reported that in Starobilsk, Luhansk region, occupiers and their accomplices are adding the apartments and houses of local residents—who have not relocated anywhere, neither to Ukrainian-controlled territory nor deeper into Russia—to the list of abandoned properties.
Additionally, in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, the occupiers are attempting to “legalize” the seizure of real estate belonging to people who left after 2014.
