Russians executed a group of captured Ukrainian soldiers at the front.

Investigators have initiated a criminal case regarding yet another incident of Russian military executions of captured Ukrainian soldiers.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

Preliminary findings indicate that on October 6 of this year, four National Guard members were carrying out tasks at positions near Selidovo in the Donetsk region.

The Russians stormed the fortifications, captured the soldiers, recorded interrogations of the wounded on video, and executed them. The killings were discovered when the Defense Forces regained lost positions the following day and found the bodies of their comrades.

The Office of the Prosecutor General reminded that the murder of prisoners of war constitutes a serious violation of the Geneva Conventions and is classified as a grave international crime.

It is worth noting that recently, near Selidovo, Russian military forces also executed two captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
