As a result of shelling by Russian military forces on the night of December 23, civil infrastructure and homes in the Kyiv region were damaged, while an enterprise in the Khmelnytskyi region was destroyed.
This was reported by local regional administrations.
According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from 10 PM on December 22 to 9 AM on the 23rd, Russian military forces launched a total of 72 drones at Ukraine, of which 47 were neutralized by air defense forces, and 25 fell without causing damage.
The operation of air defense systems was heard in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa regions.
In the Kyiv region, debris from the drones damaged power lines; however, there are currently no issues with electricity supply. Additionally, there are reports of four damaged homes, a garage, and three vehicles. No information has been received regarding casualties or injuries.
In the Khmelnytskyi region, windows were damaged in private homes, a passenger car, and an enterprise. There is also information about one person injured in the region.
