Occupants in the temporarily seized territories of the Zaporizhzhia region are abducting, torturing, and issuing “sentences” to local residents under the guise of fabricated accusations.
This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov.
“Despite nearly three years of occupation, the Russians continue their terror and attempts to intimidate the residents of the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region… They are abducting, torturing, and holding mock trials based on fabricated accusations against our people. Our citizens are resilient. The South needs de-occupation,” Fedorov emphasized.
The official specified that the occupying security services have charged two women from the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region with alleged treason. According to the Russian security forces, they supposedly transferred funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine via a banking app.
Additionally, the occupants detained a 43-year-old resident of Tokmak for a comment made on social media, accusing him of inciting terrorist activity.
Moreover, Russian security forces abducted and accused a 36-year-old resident of Berdyansk of terrorism. He is charged with allegedly blowing up the car of judge Vitaliy Lomeiko from the village of Chernihivka, who has sided with the occupants.
Recall that in July of last year, a local resident in Berdyansk, which is occupied by Russian military forces, was detained for comments made on social media.
