On December 25, a person was killed as a result of a Russian missile strike on energy facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

Later, Serhiy Lysak added that, in Dnipro, in addition to infrastructure damage, an administrative building was also affected. Windows were shattered in a nine-story building. A private house was also severely damaged. One outbuilding caught fire, and emergency services managed to extinguish the flames.

In Kharkiv, six people were injured due to the shelling: five men and one woman.
There are also damages to energy facilities in Poltava, Kyiv, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
Since the beginning of the year, this marks the thirteenth large-scale attack by Russia on Ukrainian energy and the tenth such attack on DTEK enterprises. Over nearly three years of the full-scale war, Russian forces have shelled thermal power plants more than two hundred times.
