A single mother with two college students can receive various forms of assistance, including financial aid, scholarships, and support programs to ease her burden.

The payment for a single mother is determined based on the minimum subsistence level and the average monthly income.

Social assistance is provided for single mothers in Ukraine. This support is intended to continue until the child reaches 18 years of age, and in certain circumstances, up to 23 years.

The amount of the payment is influenced not only by the number of children in the family and their ages but also by the average monthly income and the minimum subsistence level. To determine the amount of benefits for a family with two students and a single mother, "Telegraph" used a special calculator on the "P'yatochok" website.

For instance, if a family consists of a single mother and two children aged between 18 and 23 years (students), and the total family income over six months is 36,000 hryvnias, which amounts to 6,000 hryvnias per month, the woman will receive 2,056 hryvnias in assistance.

This amount was calculated solely based on the monthly salary of the Ukrainian woman.

The website also clarifies that this financial assistance is granted to the mother until the child turns 18. However, if the child is enrolled in a full-time educational institution such as a school, vocational school, college, technical school, or university, the payments will continue until the children complete their education, but not beyond the age of 23.

We remind you that earlier "Telegraph" reported on what the payment will be for a single mother who receives the minimum wage and has three preschool-aged children.
