On the night of December 1st, air raid alerts were declared in several regions of Ukraine. Explosions occurred in the Kyiv region and the capital, as well as in the Zhytomyr and Poltava regions.
According to data from monitoring Telegram channels, Russian forces attacked using strike drones. They were launched in multiple directions simultaneously.
Updated at 7:35: explosions were heard again in Kyiv.
The first explosion was reported in Boryspil, Kyiv region, around 01:45. Prior to this, warnings were issued that Kyiv, Chernihiv, Brovary, Boryspil, Obukhiv, Vyshhorod, and Pryluky were under threat.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reports that in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital, several cars are on fire in the yard of a residential building due to falling debris. Windows have been shattered in some apartments of the building. However, there have been no calls to medics.
He also clarified that the fire in the Obolonskyi district is not related to enemy attacks. The fire occurred in several kiosks at the market, covering an area of 100 square meters.
The Air Force reports that enemy strike drones are observed in the south of the Sumy region — heading southwest — and on the border of Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kyiv regions — heading west (as of 06:14).
Monitoring reports indicate that drones have been detected:
Chernihiv→Kyiv.
Poltava→Kyiv.
Sumy→Poltava.
Everyone is urged to stay in shelters until further notice.
