A train caught fire in Belarus while in full motion (photos, videos).

On the evening of November 30, a diesel train consisting of two cars caught fire in Belarus. The incident occurred on the "Gudy-Bastuny" stretch near the village of Zhirmuny (Grodno region).

This was reported by the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Emergency Situations. It was noted that the fire broke out in the front car.

"It was found that a fire started in the diesel compartment of the train during its journey. There were 18 people in the cars, including 15 passengers, a ticket clerk, a driver, and an assistant driver, all of whom evacuated the train independently and were unharmed," the statement said.

It took approximately half an hour to extinguish the fire; however, passengers had to be transported to their destination by road.

The cause of the ignition has not yet been determined, and there were no delays on the route.

As previously reported, in Odessa, on the night of November 29, a club called "True Man" caught fire, located in the beach complex "Arcadia." The fire lasted throughout the night, and the building was nearly completely destroyed. Firefighters worked at the scene for almost the entire night and are now considering two main theories for the incident — a short circuit and intentional arson.
