Citizens who were previously classified as "conditionally fit" for military service were required to undergo a repeat military medical commission (MMC) by February 5. However, the conditions of this requirement may now change.
Bill No. 12457, currently under consideration by the Verkhovna Rada, proposes to extend the deadline to June 5, 2025, and exempt certain categories of citizens from the repeat examination. This was reported by 24 channel.
Exemptions from the requirement to undergo a repeat military medical examination:
For other citizens classified as "conditionally fit," undergoing a repeat MMC remains mandatory.
It is important to note that "conditionally fit" men who did not manage to undergo the MMC by February 5 will not face fines or be declared wanted. This was stated by Alexander Fedienko, a member of the "Servant of the People" faction.
According to him, there is a directive to territorial recruitment centers (TRC) to refrain from taking any action against "conditionally fit" conscripts. However, this is contingent upon them having all necessary documents confirming their status, the deputy added.
Fedienko also noted that it is highly likely that the Verkhovna Rada will soon pass the bill extending the deadline for the repeat MMC to June 5, 2025.
Earlier, "Telegraph" reported on what to do for "conditionally fit" individuals who did not manage to undergo the MMC by February 5. A referral for a medical examination can be obtained online through "Reserve+".
