Political expert Magda discussed whether new elections for Zelensky will benefit Ukraine.

He also commented on the rumors regarding Umerov's dismissal.
Политолог Магда объяснил, как перевыборы Зеленского могут повлиять на Украину.

The replacement of Defense Minister Rustem Umerov will not aid Ukraine, and holding presidential elections during wartime is a gift to Russia. Discussions about this do not contribute to uniting society.

This is the opinion expressed by Ukrainian journalist and political technologist Yevhen Magda to "Telegraph." He emphasizes that changing ministers within presidential structures will not resolve Ukraine's issues at this moment.

"In the President's Office, Umerov's threat is perceived as a threat to Volodymyr Zelensky's ratings. However, that's not entirely accurate. Throughout this time, since the onset of the full-scale invasion, I have not heard from any conscious and relatively significant opposition politician the call to hold elections and re-elect Zelensky as soon as possible," says Magda.

According to him, elections for the Supreme Commander-in-Chief during wartime, especially now against the broader backdrop, are simply a gift to Russia, as the focus should first be on achieving victory and then on the elections, not the other way around.

"Right now, there is a swarm of candidates who will campaign with our money on how to dismantle our state. This can be easily executed, but we, as supporters of Ukraine, must implement a Victory Plan based on a coalition for victory," the expert explains.

Magda points out that Ukraine must grasp a simple truth: the more the authorities think about elections, the more problems Ukrainians will face. When the focus of the "upper echelons" shifts towards victory, then our state will make progress.

"Victory is a prerequisite for holding elections, not the other way around. There are things happening within the state that simply destabilize us, and this should not be the case during wartime," adds the journalist.

Let us remind you that Zelensky is ready to end the war in exchange for NATO membership. This should be offered to the non-occupied part of the country, but the invitation from the Alliance will include Ukraine's internationally recognized borders.

Earlier, "Telegraph" reported that Ukraine is prepared for the second World Summit. Zelensky's team has already shared their developed plan.
