On the night of Monday, December 2, Russians launched drone attacks on Ukraine. In particular, Kyiv was under threat, where the air raid alert lasted four and a half hours.

The drones approached the capital in waves and from various directions. Defense forces detected and neutralized approximately two dozen enemy UAVs that posed a potential threat to Kyiv, reported the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko.

"In the capital, there were no damages or casualties. Operational data is being updated and clarified," he noted.

Air raid alerts were also declared in Kyiv in the morning of December 2. The latest threat of drone attacks lasted from 6:32 to 7:06.

It should be noted that during the previous night, an event in Ukraine was affected by enemy drones. Specifically, an enemy "Shahed" struck a five-story building in Ternopil. One person was killed, and three others were injured. Approximately 100 residents were evacuated by rescuers. The blast wave damaged windows of nearby buildings, schools, and 20 vehicles.

As reported by "Telegraph," recently, Russians shot down their own drone near Belgorod. The local territorial defense mistakenly believed it was Ukrainian and learned a lesson.
