The host of the “Ballon d'Or 2024”, Didier Drogba, was one of the standout figures of the evening when Rodri won the top prize.

Accompanying the legendary former footballer was his girlfriend, Gabrielle Lemer.

In January 2021, Drogba announced his divorce from his now ex-wife, Lalla Diakite, after ten years of marriage.

Gabrielle Lemer is an entrepreneur and the CEO of “Barons Agence Consil En Communication,” an agency that operates in the realm of political services. She is the daughter of a former diplomat and the ex-president of the Belgian Chamber of Commerce in Côte d'Ivoire.

Gabrielle congratulated Didier on his outstanding performance at the gala evening on Instagram:
