The central defender of Barcelona and the Spanish national team, Pau Cubarsi, celebrated his 18th birthday on January 22.

However, according to the publication Sport.es, the player will continue to live in one of the rooms at the youth academy of "Barça" – La Masia.

“Pau continues to live in La Masia, and it doesn’t seem like anything will change,” writes journalist Ivan San-Antonio.

“Cubarsi’s idea is to live in a calm atmosphere until the end of the season, and then decide with his parents.”

The Spaniard is close to obtaining his driver’s license, and it’s quite likely that the Barcelona prodigy will acquire his first car and first home in the near future.

“Cubarsi’s life has changed significantly over the past year, although those close to him assure that he remains the same,” claims Sport.es.
