President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Poland today, January 27, to participate in the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp.
This was announced to the press by his spokesperson, Serhiy Nikiforov.
Zelensky's visit to Poland also includes bilateral meetings, particularly with European Council President António Costa and French President Emmanuel Macron.
It is noteworthy that today, Poland will host events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp, where at least 1.1 million people were killed. Participation has been confirmed by 56 countries and international delegations.
Recall that two weeks ago, Zelensky visited Warsaw, where he met with Polish President Andrzej Duda. Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that Poland has prepared a 46th aid package for Ukraine worth 200 million euros.
Additionally, Ukraine granted Poland permission to conduct exhumation work related to the victims of the Volhynia tragedy in the Ternopil region in April.
