On February 2, around 4 PM, the occupiers dropped a guided aerial bomb on residential buildings in Kherson. At least three women have been reported injured, and they have been hospitalized. One of them is in critical condition.
This information was shared by the chairman of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Roman Mrochko, and the press service of the local OVA.
“Approximately at 4:00 PM, a Russian guided aerial bomb ‘arrived’ in the central part of Kherson. The strike hit residential buildings,” the OGA report states.
It was clarified that a 40-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital in moderate condition. She sustained blast injuries, a concussion, and shrapnel wounds to her back.
Another victim, a 46-year-old woman from Kherson, was rescued from the rubble of a collapsed house. She has a blast injury, a concussion, and abdominal wounds. Currently, she is in a medical facility in critical condition.
The chairman of the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that there is another living person under the debris, and rescuers are attempting to free him.
“There are three injured people; two have been rescued from the rubble, and our heroic medics are already providing them with assistance, while our emergency service workers, together with the police, are currently extracting another person, who is alive, from under the debris,” the official stated.
Subsequently, the State Emergency Service clarified that rescuers needed about an hour to retrieve the woman. During the rescue operation, they continuously communicated with her to keep her conscious.
“Fortunately, the rescue operation was successful, and the injured woman was handed over to the medics. Two more people were rescued from the premises that were destroyed by the blast wave. They are also receiving medical assistance,” the State Emergency Service added.
