В Запорожье спасатели деблокировали тело 27-летнего мужчины, погибшего в результате ракетного удара российских войск 18 января.

Today, January 26, the body of a 27-year-old man was found under the rubble in Zaporizhzhia. The search lasted for 9 days following the shelling by occupiers on January 18.

This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Zaporizhzhia.

It was noted that as a result of the Russian shelling that occurred on January 18, 2 people died, and another 12 were injured.

“On January 26, rescuers discovered and recovered the body of a 27-year-old man who became a victim of Russian terror. Search and rescue operations lasted for 9 days,” the statement said.

In total, over nine days, 178 emergency responders and 40 units of equipment were involved in the search and rescue efforts. A canine unit from the Interregional Rapid Response Center of the State Emergency Service was also deployed.

Recall that the strike on Zaporizhzhia occurred in the morning of January 18. As a result of the attack, an administrative building of one of the industrial facilities was partially destroyed, and residential houses were damaged. Additionally, the Russians destroyed the UOC MP cathedral.

Furthermore, on the night of January 23, the Russian military launched four missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, one person died, and 51 others were injured.
