In Poltava, the debris removal has been completed: 14 people lost their lives, including three children.

In Poltava, emergency rescue operations have concluded following a Russian strike on a residential five-story building. Among the 14 deceased, one more child has been identified.

"As a result of the enemy attack, 14 people have died, including two children aged nine and 12. Twenty individuals were injured, four of whom are children aged three months, two, eight, and 12 years," the service summarized.

Subsequently, the State Emergency Service clarified that among the 14 deceased, the body of one child was identified. Thus, three children – aged 7, 9, and 12 – have died as a result of the enemy strike.

It is noted that 22 people were rescued.

Psychological assistance was provided by specialists from the State Emergency Service and the National Police to 206 citizens, including 11 children.

Recall that on the morning of February 1, Russian military forces attacked Ukraine with missiles. In Kharkiv, a woman was killed due to the shelling, and five others were injured. Initially, in Poltava, it was reported that three people had died and ten were wounded.

Earlier, ZMINA informed that the number of fatalities from the Russian missile strike on a residential building in Poltava had risen to 14, with reports of two deceased children.
