It is reported that beta testing of the electronic service for obtaining statuses through the "Diia" portal has begun today:

  • person with a disability due to war
  • status of a family member of a deceased defender of Ukraine

"The new services will minimize bureaucracy and simplify the process of obtaining statuses for veterans and their families. As a result, veterans and families of fallen defenders will have a convenient application process for obtaining their status, and authorized personnel in local structural units dealing with veteran policy will have an electronic cabinet to process such applications," noted Natalia Kalmykova, the Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.

We remind you that in Ukraine, veterans will additionally receive 1500 hryvnias quarterly. Last year, the Ministry of Education and Science launched an educational platform for veterans, and the Cabinet approved a veteran policy strategy.
