In Russia, they can't shut down the oil refinery located "behind the fence" of the air defense brigade.

The Afipsky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar region, located right next to the 90th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade of Russia, has once again been struck by Ukrainian drones.

Last night, on February 10, the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out another successful long-range strike against the Russian Federation. The targets of the attack, as currently known, were the Afipsky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar region and facilities in Krasnodar.

The strike on the Afipsky Oil Refinery can be considered particularly significant, as it is located practically "next door" to the 90th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade of the 49th Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation. The phrase "next door" is not an exaggeration, as they are indeed in close proximity.

It is worth noting that the 90th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade is equipped with Buk-M2 missile systems, and since 2020, it has begun receiving the Buk-M3, which is the latest version of this air defense system. However, the actual state of their inventory, both in terms of quantity and the type of missile systems, is unknown as of 2025.

Meanwhile, the affected Afipsky Oil Refinery has a designed capacity of 6.25 million tons of oil per year and, as reported by the Central Intelligence Department under the National Security and Defense Council, plays a strategic role in supplying fuel to the enemy's forces. This makes it a critical asset compared to other refineries. However, we must note that the extent of the damage it has sustained is currently unknown.

Nevertheless, the enemy was unable to protect the Afipsky Oil Refinery. At the same time, the so-called Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that it managed to "intercept and destroy" only 15 Ukrainian drones, of which 7 were allegedly over the Krasnodar region. This number is very low compared to other regular reports from the enemy, where "over a hundred drones are shot down."

Recall that on February 3, Ukraine carried out effective strikes against the refinery near Volgograd, as well as a gas processing plant near Astrakhan, and on January 29, against "Sibur-Kstovo," which is Putin's common fund and a supplier of raw materials for explosives.
