The total value of Ukraine's mineral resources currently under temporary occupation by Russia is estimated at 350 billion dollars.
This was reported by the Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyrydenko, at the forum "Ukraine. Year – 2025."

In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, there are mineral resources valued at around 350 billion dollars.
“These are resources currently controlled by the aggressor, which can be utilized for the aviation or defense industries and could be used against us,” Svyrydenko noted.
Svyrydenko added that there are significant deposits of lithium, titanium, and uranium, and Ukraine faces the task of attracting foreign investments for the development of these resources and their extraction, rather than solely exporting them abroad.
Let us remind you that at the beginning of next week, the Ukrainian government will begin serious negotiations on an agreement regarding rare earth metals and security guarantees with the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump.
The U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessen, shared key aspects of the agreement that is to be concluded between the United States and Ukraine concerning rare earth metals.
