Sweden announced on January 30 a record military aid package of nearly $1.2 billion for Ukraine.
This was reported by the country's Minister of Defense, Paul Jonsson, as conveyed by the Swedish Ministry of Defense.

“With a cost of 13.5 billion kronor (1.2 billion USD - ed.), the government is presenting the largest military support package for Ukraine to date. The aid package also enhances Ukraine's capabilities at long distances,” the statement said.
It is reported that around 1 billion kronor (90 million USD - ed.) will be allocated for the production of Ukrainian long-range missiles and long-range drones. The aid package will also include:
Procurements for free transfer – 5.9 billion Swedish kronor.
Financial donations – 2.8 billion Swedish kronor.
Transfer of equipment from the Swedish Armed Forces' warehouses with subsequent replenishment of stocks for 3.3 billion Swedish kronor, including:
146 trucks;
16 Stridsbåt 90 boats;
23 combat modules for naval use;
1 million 12.7-mm ammunition;
1500 TOW anti-tank missiles;
200 anti-tank shells with training equipment;
individual and group infantry gear;
protection against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats.
The package will also include:
Research and analysis services in the defense sector through the Swedish Defense Research Agency (FOI) and the Swedish Defense University (FHS) – 180 million Swedish kronor.
Funding for training Ukrainian military personnel – 650 million Swedish kronor, including support for the Interflex program for basic training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2025.
A decision on maintenance and support for 400 million Swedish kronor, which includes repair and maintenance activities for previously transferred Swedish equipment.
Recall that in December, Sweden and Denmark agreed to transfer an additional batch of CV90 armored vehicles to Ukraine. It was also reported that Sweden would allocate funds for the production of long-range weapons for Ukraine.
