During the night, Russians launched nearly 200 drones over Ukraine, resulting in one death and several injuries (updated).

As a result of the shelling by Russian military forces on the night of February 26 in Kharkiv and the Kyiv region, there are reports of consequences, including two fatalities and two injuries.

The Russian army launched an attack on Ukraine with 177 strike drones overnight, of which 110 were intercepted by air defense forces, as reported by the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Air defense operations were heard in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

In the Kyiv region, in the Bucha district, five private homes were damaged, along with the glazing of apartments in four high-rise buildings, two garages, three vehicles were destroyed, and eight were damaged. Regarding casualties, one deceased was found during the firefighting efforts in one of the private homes. Soon after, a report came in about a second fatality, whose body was recovered from the rubble.

At least two other individuals were injured due to the strike, including a 20-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man.

In Kharkiv, the Russians hit a high-rise building in the Kyiv district. A drone struck directly into an apartment that was unoccupied. As a result, two people from the building sustained injuries.

Additionally, one of the Russian drones struck a road on the central Sumy street, damaging the roadway. The blast wave shattered nearly all the windows in the neighboring high-rise building.

There are also reports of two additional strikes in the Kyiv district; however, there were no injuries there.
