As a result of shelling by Russian military forces on the night of February 25, civilians in the Kyiv and Sumy regions were injured.

During the night, the Russian army launched drones and cruise missiles at Ukraine. The command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has not yet reported on the number of targets shot down.
In Sumy, Russians struck near high-rise buildings around Lake "Chekh." As a result of the attack, windows were shattered in a residential building. Regarding the injured, it is currently known that one person has already received medical assistance.
In the Kyiv region, following the attack, a private house and outbuildings were partially destroyed. Additionally, a 44-year-old woman was injured in the Obukhiv district. The victim has a laceration on her leg and has been hospitalized in a local hospital.

Over the three years of full-scale war, the Russian army has killed more than 12,000 civilians in Ukraine and at least 45,000 military personnel. Last year, due to the use of guided aerial bombs and drones by the Russians, the number of civilian casualties increased by 30%, with the figure for children reaching 50%.
