The UN General Assembly considered a Ukrainian resolution condemning Russia's full-scale invasion. The document received support from 93 countries.

The session was broadcast on the UN's YouTube channel.

Trump's shift towards Putin's Russia undermines decades of US policy – NYTDonald Trump is dramatically altering American foreign policy with his statements about Russia, which have remained unchanged for decades.

It is known that 18 countries, including the USA, Russia, Belarus, and Hungary, voted against the resolution. An additional 65 countries, including China, abstained.

The document was introduced for discussion by Ukraine and several other countries. It emphasizes commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty, independence, unity, and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders and calls for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine.

At the same time, the USA proposed an alternative version of the resolution that only mentions the "Russian-Ukrainian conflict" and reiterates that the main goal of the UN is the peaceful resolution of disputes.

The vote on the second version took place immediately after the consideration of the Ukrainian resolution. This version also received support from 93 countries. Eight countries, including Russia, opposed it, while 73 countries abstained.

It is worth noting that recently, media reports indicated that the administration of US President Donald Trump requested Ukraine to withdraw its draft UN General Assembly resolution condemning Russian aggression and demanding Moscow to withdraw its troops from Ukrainian territory.

Additionally, it was reported that G7 countries might refrain from a joint statement regarding the anniversary of the full-scale war due to the US position.
