The Verkhovna Rada has ratified a framework agreement with the United Kingdom regarding official credit support for enhancing Ukraine's defense capabilities.
This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak on Telegram on Tuesday, February 4.

According to him, the relevant draft No. 0300 was supported by 245 MPs.
As reported, on January 31, the government approved the draft agreement under which Britain will provide Ukraine with up to £2 billion for the purchase of air defense systems, missiles for air defense, and the organization of repair bases for military equipment and other weaponry.
These bases are expected to be located in Ukraine as well. The allocated funds will significantly enhance Ukraine's defensive capabilities.
It is noteworthy that in 2025, the UK plans to allocate at least $6.6 billion to Ukraine, of which $3 billion will be military aid.
Recall that earlier, Ukraine and Britain signed a 100-year partnership agreement. Additionally, Britain is ready to support a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine.
