Kremlin prisoner Oleg Fedorov has been transferred to another Russian colony and was immediately placed in solitary confinement.

This is reported by "Crimean Solidarity," citing information from his wife, Irina Fedorova, who received a letter from her husband.

The participant of the second Bakhchysarai group in the so-called "Hizb ut-Tahrir" case, Ali (Oleg) Fedorov, has been transferred from correctional colony No. 5 (IK) in the city of Sarapul to IK No. 8 in the village of Khokhryaki, Udmurt Republic, Russia, where he has been placed in a punishment isolation cell (SHIZO).

This was reported by writes "Crimean Solidarity," citing information from his wife Irina Fedorova, who received a letter from her husband.

In the colony where the man was previously held, his stay in SHIZO was extended four times. He was transferred to the new colony after the previous one was disbanded. However, the order for his stay in SHIZO was still in effect, so Fedorov was sent there immediately after the transfer. The man mentioned in his letter that the order is valid "until the end of February."

Fedorova noted that, according to her husband, the conditions in the new colony are approximately the same as those in Sarapul. He did not inform his wife about his health condition.

Oleg Fedorov is a participant in the so-called case of Crimean Muslims, an entrepreneur from the occupied Bakhchysarai. He attended court hearings on politically motivated cases and participated in information campaigns supporting Crimean Tatar political prisoners. He provided financial assistance to the families of political prisoners.

On February 17, in Crimea, occupation forces conducted mass searches in Belogorsk, Bakhchysarai, Simferopol, Sevastopol, and the Soviet district of Crimea. Crimean activists Lenur Seydametov, Timur Yalkabov, Azamat Eyupov, Yashar Shikhametov, Ernest Ibrahimov, and Oleg Fedorov were taken to the illegal "FSB of Russia for the Republic of Crimea" after investigative actions were carried out at their homes.

Investigators from the FSB told the relatives that the detainees are accused under Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of Russia. Crimean Muslims have been charged with involvement in the activities of the religious organization "Hizb ut-Tahrir," which is banned in Russia but operates without restrictions under national legislation in Ukraine and many other countries around the world.

On July 8, 2022, the Southern District Military Court sentenced Fedorov and Ibrahimov to 13 years in prison. They were required to serve the first three and a half years of their sentence in prison, followed by time in a strict regime colony. They were also given an additional year of restricted freedom after their release.

On July 13, 2023, the appellate military court in Vlasikha upheld the sentence for the Crimean Tatars.

On September 16, 2023, Fedorov was transferred from the pre-trial detention center in Novocherkassk to a prison in Yelets, Lipetsk region.

In December 2024, he was delivered to IK No. 5 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation in the Udmurt Republic.
