In Ukraine, a scheduled pension indexation will take place starting March 1. More than 10 million Ukrainian pensioners will see their payments increase by 11.5%.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, during a Cabinet meeting on February 25.

“Starting March 1, we will conduct pension indexation. For more than 10 million citizens, pensions will increase by 11.5%,” Shmyhal stated.
He clarified that the minimum increase in pensions will be no less than 100 UAH.
“To fairly distribute financial resources and specifically raise the lowest pensions, we are implementing a maximum indexation limit of up to 1500 hryvnias,” the head of the Cabinet added.
It is worth noting that, according to Opendatabot, a quarter of pensioners in Ukraine receive less than 3,000 hryvnias. Recently, the Minister of Social Policy forecasted when Ukrainians might begin accumulating pensions.
