Who Israel is Purchasing 155mm Shells From

Recent open-source information indicates that last year Serbia exported three times more weapons and ammunition to Israel than in 2023, amounting to a total of €42.3 million compared to just €1.4 million.

Interestingly, this information suggests that there is such a global shortage of 155mm shells that Israel has turned to Serbia for these munitions.

Thailand's Tank Fleet

In addition to having nearly fifty Ukrainian main battle tanks "Oplot" in its arsenal, this country boasts one of the most exotic tank fleets in the world, including the lightweight Commando Stingray manufactured in the United States.

Meanwhile, the most fascinating specimen of Thailand's ground forces is undoubtedly the Japanese light tank from World War II, Type 95 "Ha-Go", of which there are only two still operational worldwide.

Strikes on the Russian Federation

This week, Ukraine's defense forces carried out another strike directly against the Russian Federation using long-range drones, with reports indicating that the enemy mentioned over 100 drones involved in the attack.

However, the most intriguing aspect of this particular strike was that one of the targets was the "Sibur-Kstovo" facility. We explain how Ukraine struck at Putin's common fund and a supplier of raw materials for explosives.

BTR-70

Reports have emerged in specialized resources citing the Polish magazine Aeromag, which mentioned that the Polish defense factory MISTA, a producer of Oncilla armored vehicles, has restored and upgraded over 150 BTR-70 armored personnel carriers, with Ukraine likely being a potential recipient.

Скрін-шот публікації від Aeromag про модернізацію БТР-70

This information is intriguing enough to warrant further examination, particularly regarding whether there could be alternative customers in Europe for such a large-scale modernization of Soviet BTR-70s.
