Ukrainian defenders and fighters from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense struck the facilities of the "Ryazan Oil Refinery" for the second time in a week, which is involved in supporting the Russian occupation army.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Explosions and a fire have been recorded in the target area. The Ryazan oil refinery is one of the top four refineries in the Russian Federation. The facility primarily produces diesel fuel and TS-1 jet fuel," the statement reads.

The General Staff confirmed that on the night of January 26, the facilities of the "Ryazan Oil Refinery," which supports the Russian occupation army, were hit by units of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that this was a repeated strike on the refinery. After the attack, explosions and a fire were recorded in the target area.

Additionally, in the Kursk region, Ukrainian missile troops struck the forward command post of the Pacific Fleet's operational group of the aggressor country. Clarification of the results and the extent of the damage is ongoing.

As is known, the previous attack on the oil depot in Ryazan occurred on the night of January 24.

Let us remind you that on the night of January 21, the oil depot "Liskinskaya" was struck for the second time in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation. Furthermore, the Smolensk Aircraft Plant was also attacked.

Media outlets have also calculated the number of drone attacks on Russian oil refineries and depots over the past year.
