The UK government will provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a new weapons package worth £150 million (approximately $186 million).
This was announced by the country's Defense Minister John Healey during a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, as reported by Suspilne.

The funds will be used to supply artillery, tanks, air-to-air missiles, and other types of weaponry, as well as for new contracts "for the repair of critical equipment in Ukraine."
Healey emphasized that this year Britain will spend £4.5 billion (approximately $5.6 billion) on military support for Ukraine.
"This is more than ever before. By the end of March, I will be working directly with partners, particularly Latvia, and we will deliver around 10,000 drones over the year," the minister concluded.
Recall that in early February, it was reported that the UK allocated a new financial aid package to Ukraine totaling £55 million (about $68 million). The funds will be directed to projects in the fields of energy, business, and social support.
It was also reported that the Verkhovna Rada ratified a framework agreement with the UK on credit support for the development of Ukraine's defense capabilities.
