A Barcelona football player has cheated on his wife, and now they are getting a divorce.

The ex-wife of Barcelona forward Vitor Roque, Diana Lins, has confirmed that the couple has initiated divorce proceedings.

The Brazilian model shared this in an interview with the media outlet "Leo Dias." It’s worth noting that the 19-year-old Brazilian is currently on loan at "Real Betis."

“Yes, our marriage hasn’t worked out. I intend to end it. We have already started negotiations. Right now, I am finalizing some bureaucratic matters and returning to Brazil, which I miss very much,” Diana confirmed the divorce news, noting that she is five years older than Vitor.

She also recounted several shocking instances of their troubled life together and hinted at the player's infidelity:

“Once, I had an unfortunate incident at home, a domestic accident, and I shared my situation in the family group, but Vitor didn’t even send me a message or offer help. Sometimes, I would sit at home alone waiting for him to come back, asking for simple everyday things, but there was no response.

There are particularly difficult topics, such as fidelity in relationships. But I’m not ready to discuss that in detail just yet.”

The final blow to their relationship came when Vitor Roque traveled to a “neighboring country” with his parents without informing his wife:

“On December 25, Vitor left with his parents and didn’t even tell me,” Diana shared.
