Bellingham declined a meeting with the pop star, and the reason is quite surprising.

The relationship between Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham and Spanish pop singer Aitana has come to an end, before it even began.

According to Marca, the England international hesitated to meet the star artist, despite her inviting him out several times.

Speculation about Bellingham and Aitana's romance arose when journalists noticed unusual activity from the potential couple on Instagram: Jude liked all of the singer's posts, and she reciprocated.

The story continued with the beauty attending matches at the “Santiago Bernabéu” to support the footballer.

However, Jude decided to end the relationship before it truly started. The reason is surprising for a player of his stature:

“It seems that Aitana and he began flirting on Instagram, and at one point Aitana suggested they meet. But Jude was very afraid that they would be photographed and that the image would spread through the media.

“He feared being caught because he cares deeply about his professional career. Bellingham didn’t want to be in the spotlight, given that Aitana is very well-known for her work; he didn’t give a reason for this meeting,” said gossip journalist Marisa Blásquez on the program "Fiesta."
