President Volodymyr Zelensky held another meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff on Tuesday, December 3.
He announced this on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the main topic of the meeting was the production of weapons in Ukraine. The parties discussed, in particular, the volumes of new and long-term orders for drones.
"Separately and carefully – regarding our missile program. Development, orders, delivery. There was a report on testing new types of missiles. We can thank our Ukrainian missile developers. We are accelerating production," Zelensky assured.
Additionally, Zelensky held a meeting today with the Prime Minister, the Minister of Energy, and the Commander of the Air Forces.
"Reports were made on the protection of energy facilities and restoration efforts. We identified additional priorities in negotiations with partners on air defense for Ukraine," the president reported.
Recall that recently Zelensky announced how much funding from the revenues of frozen Russian assets will go to support the defense industry.
It was also reported that the leadership of Ukraine is already working on strengthening the air defense system in light of Russia's strike with a new ballistic missile.
