New changes in the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be implemented soon.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky during a press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
He emphasized that the effectiveness of military command is crucial for the implementation of Ukraine's internal "resilience plan."
"Recently, I presented the 'resilience plan' within our state. Defense capability, all our military – are one of the main priorities of unity and other points of this plan. It includes specific reforms and concrete decisions,” the president stated.
According to Zelensky, such specific decisions are made by specific individuals.
"So these are not the last changes; there will be more. Because we need to move faster,” he declared.
Recall that at the end of November, Zelensky appointed a new commander of the Ground Forces. Major General Mykhailo Drapaty was appointed, replacing Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk in this position.
In the summer, it was reported that Zelensky decided to replace the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
