Today, a man died near the TCK in Kamianets while handing over items to a soldier. The explosion reportedly occurred at the moment the box, allegedly containing the items, was being passed.
This information was shared by the mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi, Mykhailo Posytko, during a telethon.
An explosion occurred in Kamianets-Podilskyi near the TCK building: what is knownAs a result of the explosion at the TCK in Kamianets today, it is preliminarily known that one person has died and four others are injured.According to him, the explosion took place on the TCK premises, where a military medical commission was operating. Among the injured are medical personnel, who are receiving assistance.
The mayor also reported that the deceased was a person who was passing items in a box to a soldier at the TCK. The explosion occurred immediately after the box was handed over.
Suspilne, citing its sources, states that the deceased was a civilian.
The chief physician of the Kamianets-Podilskyi city hospital, Borys Syrota, commented on the condition of the injured who were hospitalized.
"The condition of the patients ranges from severe but stable to moderate and satisfactory. Among the injured are two doctors, a soldier, and a woman who is a staff member of the institution. Some of the hospitalized have shrapnel wounds to the head, arms, and abdomen. Those in more critical condition were sent to the neurosurgery department for surgery," – quoted the chief doctor by Suspilne.
It is worth noting that in recent days, a wave of explosions has swept across Ukraine at TCKs and near them, as well as attacks on military personnel. Today, the SBU reported that the terrorist attack at the Rivne regional TCK on February 1 was orchestrated by Russian special services using a recruited agent. During the explosion, eight military personnel were injured, and the terrorist was killed on the spot.
Previously, Russian agents were detained for causing an explosion near the TCK in Pavlohrad.
