The United States plans to provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a military aid package worth 725 million dollars.
This was reported by AP.
According to journalists, the package will include systems for countering drones and munitions for HIMARS.
The package also contains additional anti-personnel mines, which Ukraine plans to use to slow down Russian and North Korean ground forces in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
However, sources from AP did not confirm whether this aid package would include a new batch of long-range ATACMS missiles, which are needed to strike Russian targets.
It is worth noting that on November 20, it was reported that the US allocated an additional aid package to Ukraine worth 275 million dollars. This package included munitions for HIMARS, artillery, missiles, anti-tank systems, drones, and other weapons.
Previously, the White House stated that US President Joe Biden would focus on supporting Ukraine at the end of his presidency.
