The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed a decree on Sunday, January 19, introducing new sanctions from the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

“I have just signed a decree that reinforces the NSDC's decision on sanctions. We are blocking propagandists working for Russia, individuals who have sided with the enemy, and those who assist the Russian Federation in continuing the war,” Zelensky stated.
It is known that sanctions have been imposed against:
- Nestor Shufrych;
- Evgeny Gorokhov;
- Leonid Baisarov;
- Alexander Odnoralenko;
- Leonid Litvinov;
- Evgeny Murayev;
- Oleg Voloshin;
- Petr Simonenko;
- Konstantin Grigoryshin;
- Sergey Karyakin;
- Ruzhena Rubleva;
- Vadim Pisarev;
- Ilya Reznik;
- Vasily Gerello;
- Svetlana Kryukova.
As part of the sanctions, their assets will be frozen, and they will face restrictions on trade and other operations, conducting business, purchasing property, and land plots.
Under the new sanctions package, Yuri Bashmet, Viktor Sadovnichy, and Yuri Boyko have also lost their state awards.
Recall that on January 18, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a new decision regarding sanctions from the National Security and Defense Council.
Previously, Zelensky signed a decree on NSDC sanctions against the authorities of Georgia for dispersing protests.
